Least Concern seems appropriate. This was also the conclusion of the last Brazilian national assessment, carried out in 2018.
Brazil makes up about 58% of the species’ EOO (1,103,000 km² out of 1,900,000 km²).
The assessors justified LC by stating that the species needs undisturbed habitats for its survival, but there is no evidence of a risk of extinction in the near future (Aleixo et al, 2023). There is no information about the population or its trend.
