  1. The Audubon Christmas Bird Count (CBC) shows a 3.2% annual decline (95% CrI = 5.7 to 0.7) over the last 10 years, for a total 10-year decline of 27.6% (7.1% to 44.6%). The probability of a three-generation decline greater than 30% is 0.37. The probability of a three-generation decline greater than 50% is 0.01. The probability of a three-generation decline greater than 70% is < 0.01. These CBC estimates pertain to about 74% of the species winter range. These results support the up-listing of Brewer's Blackbird.
