The process of assessing the risk of extinction of Brazilian birds released its results on the website: salve.icmbio.gov.br
On this site, data from species records, bibliographical references and others can be downloaded.
The technical data sheet of the species (Formicivora iheringi) contains the national categorization (CL), justification, adopted taxonomy, national distribution, natural history and other data.
The proposal seems reasonable, at least based on available information, and would make the global and national red lists consistent for this Brazilian endemic.
The range map appears to be missing some sites where the species is known, and it would be worth updating it with information from eBird and (especially) WikiAves.
